Kelly Collins is a long-time Yukoner, a career flight instructor and an unrepentant stick-and-rudder guy. He has amassed over 13,000 hours in 54 types of aircraft, and is the go-to person for training in vintage and tailwheel aircraft. He is a current Class 1 Flight Instructor, Class 1 Aerobatic Instructor and Transport Canada Pilot Examiner. His dedication to the industry was recognized by the Government of Yukon in 2013, when he was inducted into the Yukon Transportation Hall of Fame in recognition of lifetime service to aviation in the Yukon. His contribution to the aviation industry is reflected in the skills and accomplishments of the many pilots he has trained, and in his exemplary incident and accident-free record. He has been flying the Stearman since 2018.
